  1. What is a 3D television or display? What's the difference between 3D display and ordinary display?

The ordinary display we often used in a TV or PC, only shows plane images. A 3D display can show images with a real sense of depth. You can see the images vividly floating out of the screen or going deep into the screen. Bolod’s autostereoscopic display is the newest generation of stereoscopic display equipments.

  2. What can be visualised with Bolod's 3D display screen?

All the images (pictures, videos, 3D games, etc) in 3D format can be visualized with Bolod’s autostereoscopic display.

  3. Can I move horizontally in front of the screen without impacting the stereo impression?

Yes, Bolod’s 3D display uses auto-stereo technique. When you move horizontally within the visual angle region in front of the screen, the stereo effect will not change, as you are seeing an object from different view angle.

  4. Is there any assisting device needed to help us to get the stereo effect?

No. Basically, you need not any devices (such as glasses or helmets) to assist you. For Bolod’s 3D display is using a technique named “free viewing”, which makes the viewers enjoy the scenery with 3D impression glass-freely.

  5. What is the best view angle and distance when seeing the scenery in a 3D display?

Bolod display's have a very wide view angle (up to 140 degrees). The perfect distance of the viewer from the display is different with different size of display screen. For details, please refer to our product manual.

  6. Can more than one person see stereoscopic images at the same time?

Yes, there is no limit for multi-viewers to see stereoscopic images simultaneously. But you should locate at the effective view-region in front of the screen.

  7. Can you provide the large-sized projection wall?

Of course we can. The world's largest autostereoscopic display (103-inch) is created by Bolod. We can also manufacture an even larger 3D projection wall (e.g. 180-inch), if the clients specially order it.
